Zirconium-iron getter is a non-evaporable getter with lower activation and operating temperatures than zirconium-aluminum getter.
The getter can be made into sheet, strip, and granular shapes according to customer requirements. It is also possible to press metal powder onto a butterfly-shaped metal carrier to make a disc-shaped getter.
Zirconium iron getter is particularly suitable for high-pressure discharge lamps (HID) due to its ability to not absorb nitrogen during the gettering process. This getter does not require special activation techniques and can be activated using high-frequency heating, radiant heating, or laser heating near the arc tube.
Notes:
The vacuum-packed getter must be stored in a dry and clean environment with a relative humidity of less than 75%, a temperature of less than 35℃, and no harmful corrosive gases. After opening the product, it should be used promptly and generally should not be exposed to the atmosphere for more than 24 hours. Otherwise, it must be stored in vacuum or in a dryer. The warranty period for vacuum storage is one year from the date of production.
