Features and Uses

Zirconium-vanadium-iron getter is a new type of non-evaporative getter with high adsorption performance and good stability. Its significant feature is that it can be activated at low temperatures to obtain excellent gettering performance. This getter can be used together with evaporative getter to enhance the gettering effect. This product is suitable for stainless steel insulation containers, camera tubes, X-ray tubes, and is widely used in vacuum tubes, infrared Dewars, vacuum switches, petroleum recording equipment, electric light sources, gas purification, and other fields. In addition to providing ribbon and sheet products with different sizes and specifications according to user needs, it can also provide disc-shaped structural products to facilitate user assembly and use.

Recommended activation conditions
This product activates the getter during the heating and exhaust process of the insulated container, and can also be activated by other methods such as high-frequency heating, laser, and radiation heating. The recommended activation conditions are shown in the table below, and the sorption characteristic curve of the getter is shown in Figure 5.

Precautions

The vacuum-packed getter must be stored in a dry and clean environment with a relative humidity of less than 75%, a temperature of less than 35℃, and no harmful corrosive gases. After opening the product, it should be used promptly and generally should not be exposed to the atmosphere for more than 24 hours. Otherwise, it must be stored in vacuum or in a dryer. The warranty period for vacuum storage is one year from the date of production.
