Porous sintered getter is made of various non-evaporable getter alloy powders sintered at high temperature. This type of getter has the advantages of low activation temperature, high gettering rate, large gettering capacity, good firmness, and no loose particles. Porous sintered getter is added with high-efficiency activator and anti-sintering agent to further improve its gettering performance. It can provide products in various shapes and sizes according to user requirements, and can also be equipped with a heater for applications that cannot be activated by high frequency or thermal radiation. This getter can be widely used in infrared detection Dewar, X-ray tube and other vacuum devices.

Recommended activation conditions

The recommended activation condition for porous sintered getter without a heater is 500℃×10min.
The activation conditions for the getter with a heater are as follows:
The activation current for ZZV4M360S is 2.8A×10min, and the maximum initial pressure is 5×10-2Pa. The activation current for ZIC5IM540D is 2.9A×10min, and the maximum initial pressure is 5×10-2Pa.
Caution
1. The encapsulated getter must be stored in a dry and clean environment with a relative humidity of less than 75% and no harmful corrosive gases.
2. The product is safe and stable in the atmosphere, but it needs to avoid dust, moisture, and other corrosive gases. During assembly, it is recommended not to use gloves that can shed fibers, such as veils, and to use disposable rubber finger cots instead.
3. The product should be used promptly after unsealing, and should not be exposed to the atmosphere for more than 2 hours. Otherwise, it must be stored in vacuum.
4. The getter heater wire legs cannot be vigorously shaken, and the welding action should be gentle and slow to avoid causing the insulation layer at the root of the heater to fall off.
5. The getter can only function after being activated. It is usually recommended to activate the getter before sealing the device. After activation, the device can be sealed. During the life of the device, the getter can be reactivated to achieve getter regeneration.
6. When activating the getter, the activation current should not rise too quickly. The time for the activation current to rise from 0 to the recommended value should be controlled at 3-5 minutes.
7. The getter should be vacuum sealed and stored, with a warranty period of one year from the date of production.
